Media matters
In print and online, on radio, podcast and TV, the Waterdragons’ media appearances celebrate our club’s paddlers and our achievements. We’d love to hear from you if you have copies of old newspaper articles about us – and which we’d like to add to the collection we’re building on this page.
Featured: Aurora Paradragons on SBS News
SBS News was at SIRC, Penrith earlier this year to interview the para-athletes selected to Australia’s Aurora Paradragons squad competing in Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany at the 17th IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships. We are so proud to have two Waterdragons (Carol controlling the sweep’s oar and Rosie managing the team) in this squad. Look out for some familiar faces in the SBS News clip who were on hand to help at the extra training sessions the Aurora Paradragons had ahead of their departure for Germany.
